Membership

Membership of the Traditional Hereford Breeders Club is open to all who have an interest in Traditional Hereford Cattle.

There is an annual subscription, which helps fund our promotional activities and events that will increase the awareness of this indigenous breed. Four meetings are held throughout the year where members meet to discuss the progress for the Breed and there are topical presentation on all aspects of Breeding, Showing, and Historical information.

There is a Herd visit during the summer, the promotion of cattle at the Three Counties Show in June, a show and sale at Melton Mowbray, the annual general and an Xmas get together.

Our current chairman, David Powell is an enthusiastic breeder of Hereford Cattle and is successful showing the animals both at the County Agricultural events and the Beef events in Birmingham and London. You will also need to be a member of the Hereford Cattle Society for registration of animals in the herd book.
