There is a company out here in California, Simplot, that is making IVF embryos at the slaughterhouse. A couple of weeks ago, I took down a group of my older cows to try this process and I had very good results. I ended up with 49 embryos from 5 donors and two straws of semen in a mass fertilization. All in my cost per embryo was under $60 US.
