The Traditional Hereford
Traditional Hereford breeders pride themselves on producing a high-yielding, compact beef animal with natural thickness and an unmatched ability to convert grass to quality meat.
Their conversion rate can be attributed to the skilled breeding of these cattle, having been selectively chosen for their docility, conformation and foraging ability since the 17th century. By using only bloodlines descending from this original English population, today's Traditional Herefords demonstrate the unique and valuable characteristics that once made their recent ancestors the most popular beef breed in the world.

We hope you like our website, which has been designed to provide maximum coverage on the Traditional Hereford and the breeders who can help if you wish to participate in ownership.
You can read about the conformation and qualities of the breed from our experts and begin to understand why this long established breed still commands the highest respect in the modern world.
Our news and events sections will tell you what is happening during the year including the shows where you can see these quality animals. We have an open door policy and you are welcome to join us at any event to see how we operate.
International visitors are welcome and should register any interest with the secretary. We are receiving a lot of interest in our banks of Traditional semen from around the world. Whatever your interest, do not hesitate to contact us.
